# TRXN

> TRXN is on-chain payment verification infrastructure. You price products in fiat, collect in crypto, and TRXN matches each payment to your invoice across BTC, ETH, and POL. TRXN does not process or hold funds: payments go directly from your customer to your wallet, and TRXN monitors the blockchain to confirm the right amount reached the right address in time.

## What TRXN is

- Payment verification, not payment processing. TRXN is a verification layer, never a custodian. Your crypto stays in your wallet.
- Fiat-priced, crypto-collected. Define products and prices in any fiat currency. TRXN converts to crypto at checkout using real-time rates from exchange providers (CoinMarketCap, CoinAPI). Configurable slippage margins absorb price movement between checkout and confirmation.
- Multi-chain. Verification across BTC, ETH, and POL today, with more chains on the roadmap.
- Built for one-time purchases, subscriptions, and per-request API payments.

## Core capabilities

- On-chain verification: TRXN watches the blockchain and confirms each payment matches its invoice.
- Invoice management: fiat-priced invoices with line items and multiple products.
- Subscriptions: phase-based billing for trials, promotional periods, and graduated pricing, with automatic phase transitions.
- Transaction allocation: split a single payment across multiple invoices to handle overpayments, partial payments, and batched payments.
- Payment claims: when a customer pays through an exchange (such as Coinbase) and the on-chain sender address does not match, the customer submits proof that TRXN verifies and applies to the correct invoice.
- Developer-first REST API: manage products, prices, customers, invoices, subscriptions, and verification. Webhooks notify your app on events. Isolated sandbox environments for testing.

## x402 and AI agent payments

- x402 is an open standard for internet-native payments built on the HTTP 402 status code. A server responds with 402 Payment Required and payment details, the client pays in crypto and retries, with no accounts, API keys, or signup.
- TRXN runs a hosted x402 gateway in front of your API. It handles protocol negotiation, payment verification, settlement, invoicing, and customer tracking. You point the gateway at your origin server and distribute the gateway URL.
- AI agents can pay autonomously. Agents pay per request in USDC with no human in the loop, which makes x402 a payment layer for the agentic web. Each agent is tracked as a customer and rolled into daily invoices.

## Pricing

- Usage-based on verified transaction volume. You pay for the on-chain payments and x402 gateway requests TRXN verifies for you.
- No platform fees, no setup fees, no monthly minimums, no per-seat pricing. A month with no verified volume costs nothing.
- On-chain gas is paid directly to the network. TRXN adds no markup on top of it.
- Exact rates are being finalized during early access. Early access members lock in founding pricing.
